Finally, I can apply my wishes and idea’s on my new interior. I’ve created like complete lookbook over the years on Pinterest. Even though this is a big upgrade since my dorm I think I will need like five villa’s to integrate them all… You’ve seen already the crocodile leather tissue box, the inspiration for the leather picture frame and a leather desk pad. For more inspiration how to use leather in your industrial interior you can always look into my Pinterest board LEATHER-INTERIOR but my love for the moment is the industrial style.
INDUSTRIAL INTERIOR CAN ALSO BE COSY
It has been ‘the interior style’ for quite some time but for me even longer. I used to love to watch tv-shows with ambitions and quite naive couples would tare the inside of old factories down and eventually turn it into warm and cosy homes before anyone knew about ‘industrial interior’. Besides the rough surfaces, concrete look and weathered wood, there is much more… It’s all about the combination for me between steel, wood, greenery and of course leather. I try to combine the brown tones with black/white and green until an industrial but cosy feeling is realised.

LEATHER ACCENTS & ACCESSORIES
I don’t have to fill my whole apartment with leather though some little accents and accessories might add an extra touch. The warmth created by dark brown suede, the texture of crocodile embossed leather or the signs of life in the house with scratches, marks on leather does show memories. In my home, you should be able to live and break a pot or two.
INSPIRATION & NEAR FUTURE PLANS
One of my new years’ resolutions was to use leather in my interior and now it the time to do it. I’ve collected some industrial interior inspiration in this post. Not only do I love the look of it often I get inspired by the patterns, the colours. This eventually results in my projects, some of them will turn into a DIY other will be more long-term projects. Most of them stay secret for now… though every once in a while you can get a sneak peek at my Instagram story! So check it out and don’t forget to follow me.
