Nowadays everyone, you ladies probably too, are reading blogs all over the world. You will be searching for the latest leather projects, inspiration and trends. But since it is all online, you will read it on your phone, tablet or computer. Therefore you miss the smell, the feeling and the finest details of handmade leather products. In January I’ve set a new years resolution to improve my camera skills to present my products the best as I can, but that’s kind of hard when it needs to be repaired… Earlier this year, I was outside practising my camera skills and just stupidly slipped on some ice… I thought, my worst nightmare came true but luckily it was ‘just a crack in the body’. The camera was eventually ok but it had difficulty opening my flasher. So since it will become earlier darker I wanted to get it fixed!
Leather projects never stop…
In the de meantime I, of course, continued with the leather work but taking proper photo’s with your phone is quite difficult… although I haven’t mastered those tricks yet. Therefore to make a little trip down memory lane of the past few months I will honour my promises to make some new photos. The corresponding posts will be listed below and love to hear your comments on it!
Besides the past leather projects, I want to give a little heads-up on the upcoming posts and projects! First of all, I am still working on an amazing bag; ‘the ladies bag’, little by little it will gain more shape so soon a little ‘making of -update’ on this project! Secondly, I’ve got a nice little DIY with the ‘quilted leather-like Chanel’ in prospect! Thirdly, the project picture frame will certainly continue. Last but not least a few techniques I use for the ladies bag will be explained by the time I’ve come to that part!
That’s it for now, a little heads-up from the ‘new!!!’ headquarters a.k.a. my cosy apartment haha. Stay tuned for all those new projects and continuing making-offs! When you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask them!!
